This policy explains what information Old Photo Studio (“we”, “us”) collects when you use this website.

Your photos

Your photos are restored on your own device, inside your web browser. They are never sent to us or to anyone else, and we never see them. When you save a result, it goes straight to your device. The tool doesn’t store your photos in your browser. When you close the tab, they are gone unless you saved them.

The saved file doesn’t keep your original’s hidden details, such as the date it was taken, the camera or a location.

What we collect

We collect nothing about you ourselves. You don’t need an account, and we never ask for your name or email address. The site has no analytics and no ads, and it loads nothing from other companies’ servers: the fonts, the model and its software all come from our own site.

Model files stored in your browser

To restore photos, the page downloads model files from our site. Your browser keeps a copy in its cache storage, so the tool doesn’t need to download them again on your next visit. These files contain no information about you or your photos. You can delete them by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings.

Cookies

This site does not set cookies, and apart from the model files it stores nothing in your browser.

Hosting

The site is delivered through Cloudflare. Like any host, Cloudflare handles technical request information, such as your IP address, to deliver pages to you and to protect the site from abuse. Your photos are not part of these requests.

Advertising

This site does not show ads at the moment, and it does not load any advertising code.

We plan to show ads from Google AdSense. Before we show any ads, we will update this policy. For visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, we will also put a consent message live, from a consent tool certified by Google. We won’t switch advertising on until that message works.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

We will update this policy before we add analytics or ads, and before any change in what the site collects. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when the text last changed.
